Well after best part of 4 or 5 years I have decided to replace AndyKs old 2001 325i which I bought for the princely sum of £950, over the that time it has covered 30k miles and apart from the odd wear and tear items, battery, suspension bushes, brake pipes and service items it has been true to the bangernomics as any car I have owned, it even sold for €2200 a healthy profit on the purchase price.
It's replacement is once again a BMW but this time a 2013 F11 525D Touring, a significant step up in terms of age, mileage and cost but it should provide the additional ability of carrying all the family including the dogs for a few years to come and might eventually persuade me to let the Range Rover go to. Cars here are stupidly expensive and nearly all have stellar mileages but this one, once again a UK import back in 2018, was neither less than 60k on the clock and at a euro price equivalent to the UK prices so just had to be snapped up.
