Thanks to all who contribute on the Forum to assist guys like me getting into my first Maserati with some knowledge on what to buy. I have been reading lots and now post for the first time. Currently in California for a conference, l have managed to discover gransports are pretty rare after talking to a few dealers and checking For Sales. I visited Formula Dynamics in LVegas and are taking home a drive by wire for the 2007 Anniversary Blue coupe l have purchased in Sydney Australia yet to collect.

I will provide some photos for anyone interested after l get organised in the Christmas break.
Have a relaxing Christmas..

Russell is from the north coast of NSW.
He contacted me prior to buying it, as I knew some history of the car.
This is the car I beat on a countback last year at the concours, so it really is a beauty!
The blue is spectacular, not too light, not too dark.
It is LE spec with grey leather interior.
I even advised a DBWEM which I see he has taken up.
Congratulations Russell, just watch those speed cameras up your way.
This is his car at the Sydney concours, which I'm sure he'll enjoy seeing -

Thanks mate and yes its always exiting to buy a car you're passionate about (like every car l've ever bought except for cheap runabouts).

Hi bay
Thanks and l suppose it is like winning to seek out and eventually purchase a 'pristine' (as described by the indi dealer) Gransport that meets your dreams! I sure feel excited now that its in my garage. To your question, are you asking about the production number of this vehicle? It is not an Anniversary model obviously but it sure is painted in what seems to be pretty rare Anniversary Blue, which l am amazed at now l can see it change with different light conditions. I haven't driven it much at all since the four hour drive north from Sydney, with Christmas family commitments, rainy weather and local poor road services in rural NSW.

After two years of researching and hoping l'm very pleased with the result and see the Gransport as a classic, although not ten years old in my case. Looking forward to a good cruise this weekend on major highways and decent roads. The low profile and pretty wide tyres react to bumpy surfaces and pot holes, so l will experiment with Sport mode on and off.

Thanks to all who commented on my post before Christmas and l'm looking forward to many posts and discussions. I live on the NSW Australia North Coast, a lovely part of the world (except
the roads!).
