Yes there are a few cars around at the moment. Given the numbers sold in the in the UK it always surprises me how many are for sale. I’m also surprised they don’t seem to have been swept up at all in the price rises seen elsewhere, at least not at the bottom end. It’s the same with Honda s S2000 - I have a cheap but sorted one of those too.
I really do like the look of the couple of forum cars. My wife too likes the blue. I’m trying to be strict about the research phase though. I have a habit of buying the first car I see, which normally works out well, but I can’t afford to get this one wrong. I also really need to finish the Transporter before Christmas…
And it has to be a GS. As well as the spec, the seats and the skirts are a big part of the appeal. I keep getting my head turned by cheap 3200s (there’s a red low mileage manual near me which is very tempting!) but I know the GS is the itch I have to scratch.
