I have a company called Jago next door to my office they are a well known glass fibre company.

I can ask the question if you want and I am happy to use my skirts to make the template.

Don't think Maserati will be too pleased though.

Please do find out, I think it would be a great group buy, many people were interested before but no one could find some to copy

Hallo beau. How's the reconstruction coming on? Seems like you're making good progress if you're looking at skirts.

I would certainly be interested in the group buy for any/all GS FG body parts; rear bumper, front splitter, side skirts etc....

I dont see why not, which one, GS or 4200 (GS is deeper)

Hi Matt

I'm hoping I'm wrong with this.

Now looking at it, I don't think it is possible to add a splitter to the 4200 bumper, without cutting up the 4200 bumper. Or, am I missing something?

Can only be done with a facelift bumper. The classic bumper would need modification so better to change it all.

Matt

could you ask if there could replicate the Leonardo front splitter to fit a standard 4200 bumper

Cheers

+1 unless it's a facelift bumper or GS bumper you are going to have to do a lot of modification of the 4200 front bumper. The 4200 front bumper doesn't have a removable valance/splitter or lower spoiler, whatever you would like to call it. The only difference between the facelift bumper and the GS bumper is that lower valance has air ducts/gills on the side of it. So for all practical intents and purposes the face lift bumper is a GS bumper if you changed that lower valance. If you want photos let me know I can post exactly what I am talking about.

Please be aware that it is NOT a straight swap of the face lift bumper splitter from GS to 4200...I got mine done at Marios' garrage and it was a bugger apparantly as the sides are slightly different...not just the vents.

The fixing holes are in different places and it's an awkward job to fit a front bumper on a 4200 anyway. It would need an entirely new part to be manufactured to fit a GS or facelift valance on a 'Classico' bumper. Simple terms, don't bother, cheaper to buy the whole GS bumper in the first place.

Beau, see comments above. You'd have to hack apart the bumper. You are better off just getting a GS bumper.
