Granturismo aircon hot?

I have established that the system is fully gassed and working, but only on manual "LOW" setting- lots of cold air through the vents at 6 deg C.......- But using the "Auto" or "Full auto" setting results in warm/hot air through the vents- i.e. if the interior of the car is say 20 deg C and you set the climate at say 17 deg C air through the vents is 30 deg C!

Could it faulty interior temp sensors? Will Maserati (or any other dignostics) help pinpoint the problem?

I had this on my 4.2 on start-up, for about 5 mins. And then it cooled off a bit. Don't have that problem now

Had it on mine, eventually it cools down, but it wasn't even as good as the system on my Astravan, Noble or 15 year old Rover 75!

Can I trade it for mine that seems to blow cool air as soon as it's decided that the cabin is at temperature?

How long does it blow hot air for? Mine blows furnace levels when it's on auto until it has decided that the interior of the car is at the temp that you've asked for and then it settles down again.
