After four amazing years with this car, it's time for someone else to enjoy it. I am not using it as much or as often as I should be, and have other projects which I need to get on with, so I am gauging interest here in the first instance among enthusiasts so see who may wish to be the next custodian of this unique car.

Some of you may have followed the thread about the journey I have been on with this car - https://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/granturismo-mc-trofeo-road-registered.30447/ - and will know that it is a true one of a kind. It is one of 42 works Trofeo Granturismo cars manufactured by Maserati, one of just 2 here in the UK, and the only one worldwide which has been registered to be legally driven on public roads. It is a 2009 car, number 04/42, it has a V5 in my name and a valid MOT.

Below are a few photos to further whet your appetite and please let me know if you are interested. In terms of price, it is a tough one to value being unique so I am still thinking about that but it is something we can discuss.

Thanks all

Off to do the lottery just in case

Shame to let it go after all the "joy" you have been through getting it legal but some one will benefit from all your hard work

Have a chat to Glenn and Warren at Meridien Modena. In their collection they have the only Ghibli Open Cup EVO in the the U.K. So maybe they’d like to add this collector piece to it?

Thanks everyone, it's a special car for sure which I know could take a while to find the right person for but it won't dissapoint

In answer to some of your 'serous questions' !! It is registered as a 4.7 Granturismo S because it was assigned a VIN from the factory to that effect, so yes - it is ULEZ compliant believe it or not - you can look it up under the registration MC04TRO and you will see! Plus it runs the same engine management software so the emissions are super clean, and you can plug it in to a good diagnostic machine which will reveal all of the readings and parameters that you would expect including a clutch wear reading of 8% around 300km ago.
And the subframe and all of the chassis is spotless by the way! The car has never been left outside or driven on salted roads, and now has a decent coating of Sports Italia rust prevention just in case!

It will also come with a huge spare parts package - discs, pads, drive shafts, torque tube, wheels, hubs and many other genuine parts from the Maserati race division

Autumn has well and truly arrived, so the car is now SORN'ed

The car is still for sale however and sitting in it's dehumidifed garage until the next lucky owner comes along
