Gubbins under the rear parcel shelf on my GS found during stereo upgrade.

Well. Having removed the current stereo fitted to my car by the previous owner as its rubbish, I have found a number of electronic devices, with GPS, aerials, and other stuff on what looks to be a factory OEM bracket.

I suspect this is a Tracker, but can anyone confirm? Whatever it is, it lacks any part numbers and not on any drawings on Eurospares.

Always the diplomat Arnie. It was a much better set up than the utter **** installed by the factory. But as you're clearly a know it all prat, i guess you must know everything about quality sound too.

Looks like someone took some time to do a professional level install and the rear parcel shelf would be a great spot for getting a signal. But unless you were subscribed to the tracking vendor wouldn't this just be dead weight you are carrying around?

Get rid unless you want to subscribe too it as this is what kills the Battery.
My car I brought to NZ I removed the Tracker when I took the interior out to repair the damage to the floors caused by the Shipping company.
My car is on its UK Battery and it hasn't gone flat in over 2 years.
