I, the man who every woman wants and every man wants to be, wish all my Maserati friends a very Happy Xmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

I would also like to say that I love you all despite the fact you are all NUTS!

May the coming year be free of greasing your own pistons and nipples (something which you should get someone else to do.)

Once again I Love you All

Cheers Urby and Happy Xmas to all and every SM members.

2017 has been quite a year for me and us all.

The highlights:
Getting a Strad at last, its fabulous
Le Mans...goes without saying. If your going to misbehave with 50 or so similar car idiots, you need not to do it in your back yard. That first night late night bar opening will live with me till the day I die.
Viva Espana...what a trip, totally awesome.

The lows:
Having to sell the much loved GS to fund the Strad
Having manflu for the second half of the Spain trip but I powered through it with a blend of alcohol, nicotine and adrenaline!

Here's to a similar mad 2018 and look out for the 'Monaco or Bust' trip in the Autumn.

Love you all!

Echo the above sentiments. Love you all and proud to be part of this madhouse.....

2018 for me is going to be interesting with the new venture but it's also going to be exciting.

Merry Christmas to you all.

The Viva Espana trip was certainly up there in my highlights of the year. What an awesome trip and thanks again to Matt et al for organising and everyone else for fantastic company.

Getting a Sport Auto was also brilliant and the noise is makes me smile every time I drive it.

Happy Xmas to all and here's to trying to get a few more northern meets next year.

Merry Christmas to the whole SM family.

Some highs and lows this year.

Lows being that my 4200 was in the garage for the first part of the year and then I sold it (cheaply).
And the troublesome oil leak on the GTS.

The highs being that I now own the epic GTS.
Le Mans. The awesome drive there and the drag race with Miles.
And as Matt said ‘our’ bar! Great times!

Quite the year indeed! Alex getting his first big bike, passing his test and then getting splatted and spend na month in hispital and the rest of the year recovering! My first (last minute decision) car LeMans was epic. Many months work ensued to fund Viva Espania trip and my first two week holiday in many, many years with great company and my first time ‘letting go’ and getting very drunk in SM company! Simply stunning event and totally chilled I have struggled to get back into the work routine ever since!

So 2018... LeMans again but only if I finish a new kitchen first! I am set to organise ‘Monoco or Bust’ as an unofficial forum event, I have a ladies night to arrange too, maybe another grandchild if we are lucky (not an announcement by the way).

But surely another year of Maserati madness... love you all, have a great Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

This year has been 'interesting'

Still, what does not kill us makes us stronger. I wonder how interesting 2018 will be. Just had my new flyers for the school delivered. That will certainly be a new experience :)

My low was undoubtedly seeing my daughter so ill and distressed but thank heavens that is going in the right direction.

My high was driving recklessly on one occasion when I actually hit 35 mph :tomato3:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all on SM.

Highs - finally moving after over a year of trying to make it happen.
18 days round Britain tour in the 1933 Rolls-Royce 20/25 (as mad in its own way as an SM trip!)
Helping to organise and taking part in the ECTCC Spring Tour (at least that was a good run in the 360 Spider).
Finally getting the Jalpa back on the road and finally gelling with it.

Lows - Not getting out in the MCV or most of the other cars for that matter.
Not being able to commit to various events due to moving uncertainty.

For 2018 looking forward to starting to get the new house renovated and it becoming a new venture (Bed and Breakfast) and welcoming friends old and new to this beautiful place.

Urbane Maser, you are a legend, my friend.

Lows. None that last. Getting one of my nuts removed was annoying and the chemo knocked me out for a bit (still suffering somewhat from chemo brain, but that will ease). Getting too stressed with work was pointless, so I’ve decided to stop with all the stress shite, best I can anyway.

Highs. The delights of family. Le Mans. Occasional triumphs at work. Waking up every morning. The joy of owning a GTS*. Seeing new things. All of you. You’re fvcking awesome. Keep up the good work!

* still for sale, by next the way.
