I certainly remember when I was buying the 456 back in 2012 there was a lot of discussion on my car.
Keyboard warriors and not one of them brave enough to have a go buying a V12 Ferrari but apparently all experts.
I steer well clear of there now.

I must be a warped individual, I still enjoy posting there :)

I like the way there is discussion on broader topics, business, cats, anything really! Mumsnet for Men?!!

I also occasionally grab a bag of popcorn to watch some of the more spicy threads, although have to check out of them sometimes.

Over the years it's also been good to make contact with the right people for advice or even previous owners of a car you are looking at.

Why they are doing auctions now I don't understand, and overcrowded market now surely!?

Just stay away from NP&E and PH isn't that bad, it's easy to ignore the nutters, trolls and condescending, dismissive, arrogant holier than though lot and concentrate on the car content (the classics threads are fine). The film, music and TV sections are alright too.

If wasn't a member of PH I wouldn't have found my Maser Biturbo... ;)

Years ago there was a bloke on there called something like Porsche 911R, on there he was the most arrogant to55er going, I spoke to my brother about him and he reckoned when you met him at Porsche events he was the nicest bloke going.

That's the internet for you. It's easy to slag people off when they're not in front of you.
