Just been reading up on this years rule changes, it was said that these would lead to the anteater look, now there are concerns the cars could go under the car in front in the event of a rear collission. Whatever, it will be an interesting start to the season.

Testing today wasn't a big success. Most didn't make it out and Lewis Hamilton broke his after the front fell off and he drive into a barrier.

Which I suppose is the purpose of testing.

Fugly if you ask me, I'll stick to MotoGP, no need for down force just give it more gas if you want to go faster.

There is something wrong - every team has designed a car and then someone said "where is the front wing?" At which point every team stuck a proboscis on the front.
Horrid horrid horrid.
I am with Moto GP but I am not paying BT for the privelidge

F1 cars are designed to be as quick as possible within a given set of regulations, there is no reason for them to look good as well. The front wing rules were always going to push the concept of a small thin nose, "anteater style".

The lower nose was to minimise damage to other cars in an accident but the result of this is that it is more open to damage itself from the track or clipping other cars. This may mean that if the drivers want to avoid having to stop for new nose cones they may be more careful over kerbs and when attempting to pass other cars. Should be an interesting season
