just a thought. i am in London on the ninth of December, Boys annual day trip to the smoke etc. However, due to a "mistake" over my train tickets, I decided to drive down thursday night, stay with a mate of mine in West Byfleet, and make a weekend of it. Is there anything occuring that weekend, ( I think someone mentioned Marlow?) that would warrant bringing the car down? Just a thought.

Xmas bash , Basically involves Meet at Ace cafe then some karting (petrol ones ) then off to the crown plaza hotel to change and , evening meal at Ville d est and then back to the hotel for drinks and a partying session , you are most welcome to join for as much or as little as you want

Just bumping this as it's not too far off now.

We have karting booked at Edmonton for 11am, the details are here...

After the karting, it's a swift blast round the north circular for lunch, natter and tyre kicking at the Ace Cafe.
In the evening we have a meal booked at the Villa d'Este, a lovely Italian restaurant in Marlow, the details are here..

The meal is booked for 8pm'ish, so we'll probably aim to be away from Ace Cafe for 5pm'ish so we can get to the hotel, get checked in and have a drink or two before sitting down to eat.

After the meal it'll be back to the hotel for late night drinks and revelry until the wee small hours.
Sunday may well bring some sore heads, but maybe a late brunch somewhere for those that haven't made it down to breakfast at the hotel and a run out?
Anyone wanting to kick the event off by meeting at Ace beforehand, then that's fine so long as you can be at the karting venue for 11am.
Do take a look, as it's a great event and a good opportunity to meet and swap stories (on many varied subjects ) with your fellow Sports Maseratisti.

Basically yes, its the start for most ,after that we have a leisurely drive ,(right blast in reality ) to the crown plaza hotel in Marlow stopping off at the ACe Cafe on the way through , at the hotel freshen up and change into something other than karting gear , and then a meal at the Ville d este reastaurant and then back to the hotel to party at the bar something like that , your more than welcome to join in and with friend/ friends if they want to come
