I went to Mike Roberts in my GS and he set the base setting to 4.5 then we went out for a drive with SD still connected and tweaked it. Think I ended up at 4.6 as an optimum setting but every car is different. You want it to take up drive as soon as you press the accelerator but not have the clutch binding at idle (the car will creep or the idle will drop slightly as its biting too low).

This is great, thank you. Its Newtons old car so I believe 4.7mm was the ideal previously.
I have tried MR without success as he hasnt phoned me back due to his broken ankle probably?

Not heard anything yet, they emailed me and said that they would contact me when it was stable. I am expecting something by the end of the year.

Hi Trudy, hope all is well and the bodywork is coming along on the old car, yes the last one was at 4.6 i believe and was snappy enough without being tiresome in traffic. I Voicey got the GS down to 4.5 when he (AV Engineering - forum sponsor) sat in and we tweaked it before Spain. I haven't got the GS driving anywhere near as nicely as the 4200 was set up but I'm getting there slowly...
