So here's my new toy... I'm super chuffed. C250d 4matic 9G-Tronic Sport Premium Plus. Slips off the tongue, doesn't it?
All the toys, amazingly comfy, uses half the fuel of the Focus ST and is quicker. It has loads of torques... 500Nm!

The 9 speed Merc boxes are silky smooth.
Huge improvement over the 7 speed ones.

It'll munch miles effortlessly.

I have the model before that....The C250 is a great everyday engine. Pulls strongly and a lovely place to be. Plus very good on fuel...I average 55 to the gallon and the best I've seen on the trip to work is 70.2...I was never a Mercedes fan but been coverted. Put around 26k on her since In the 19 months I've owned her and she has been ultra reliable. Been thinking about changing for a new shape like yours (love the interior on the new car) or a E250 one E350 Coupe. That's a great family daily drive you have.

Hehe, no. I bought the ST as a stop gap whilst saving for something comfy and mile munching that I can keep for quite a few years. Just been waiting for something suitable with the right spec at the right price and when that happened pulled the trigger.
