We are having quite a few emails about users having trouble uploading images from their PC. The image upload facility is built in to the forum software, so there is no alternative. Please read through this post and make yourself familiar with the system:
STEP 1:
Select the ATTACHMENTS icon from the header menu as indicated by the mouse pointer (if you cant see this icon, you need to press the 'Go Advanced' button below the post for the full option list:
STEP 2:
This brings up the File Upload Manager. Click on ADD FILES button top right, then SELECT FILES and navigate to the files on your PC. You can select multiple file but make sure your images are under 2mb or they will fail. If a red warning icon appears the file has failed inspection and will not upload, as its probably not a valid image file or too large. Click UPLOAD FILES and when done, they will appear in your HOME window in your File Upload Manager:
STEP 3:
You then need to drag the images you wish to use in your post to the bottom ATTACHMENTS window and the CLOSE THE BROWSER WINDOW AS INDICATED BY THE RED CIRCLE, DO NOT CLICK "INSERT INLINE" OR "INSERT ATTACHMENTS"
STEP 4:
Insert your cursor where you want the image to appear in the message body, then click the ATTACHMENTS as indicated by the mouse pointer and select your required image:
STEP 5:
Your message should now look like this (you can cut and paste this code and place it anywhere in the message body):
GO ADVANCED
If you click this button when in Quick Edit, it will reveal additional editing options. You will note that the ATTACHMENTS button is not available in this mode, so can only be done in GO ADVANCED.
