I have just got back from HR Owen and was flying the flag for Maserati in a sea of Ferraris. Unfortunately, the only Maseratis from here were Paul and me. There was a another Gransport which came via Pistonheads and I have invited him to join here.
Well, I had a fabulous time and firstly want to thank Harsh for inviting me and HR Owen for laying on great hospitality with good food and having their staff on hand to answer questions.
I got to driving a black Granturismo abeit a 4200 and not an S, but have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It did not feel as big as it looks. It rides much softer than the Gransport taking speed bumps in its stride. The noise is fabulous and I can only imagine that the S version is awesome.
Happy to say that the Ferrari hooligans led by Harsh with their fancy exhausts were duly humbled when HR Owen kindly fired up an Enzo which had the back boxes removed......my ears are still ringing from the noise
All in all a great day out.....pictures to follow
