This certainly endears them to me - Are they not in the business of making money, we can't be bothered so will sell for this but if we have to put any effort in - you will pay more --- Crack on!!!!

"The car is in very nice condition however this is a part exchange that we have took against another car, we will offer for sale at this price for a short period prior to prepping and retailing at a higher price.."

Dealer speak for "we know there is something needing done, probably expensive so hope to shift it without spending money...."

Exactly that^^^^. It winds me up so much seeing adverts like this, do they think we're all completely stupid?

Agree, what a stupid advert...Would never entertain a car sold like that...................

First 4200 I ever drove was that colour........That's going back .... Carrs Exeter.

Same colour scheme as my first 4200 from way back.
