birthday was yesterday but was choca so am happily sitting flicking through the book (it is good) and sipping my 2nd dry zub martini.........famous saying about martinis - "martinis are like breasts, one is not enough and three is just one too many.........."

Just got back from work yesterday, pick her up Monday. She's fine though wallet took a bashing! Belts, pulleys etc, plus water pump and oil sender. Tensioner had worked loose but caught in time so saved an expensive disaster!! All needed done though so should, hopefully, all be good for the 3000 mile trip in Sept.

sounds like my visit.......but always worth catching the pump/tensioner - saves 4/5k prob. she will be one of the stars of sept I reckon.........wish I was going but no A/L left

Pity about the A/L. I had to shuffle my weeks offshore to fit it in, away 1st week Sept, then off for four, then back for three. Lucky I had the option to do that. Looking forward to it.

I know, so jealous of those that are able to go...........might have to arrange a short run to the west coast taking all sights in to make up for missing it........well try to.
