Thats nice of her! You must like it?
My wife didn't understand why I was excited at being able to secure WH17AKR after waiting for 5 years. Venus and Mars and all that...

I was made up...I've been looking at that plate for a few months and noticed a few weeks ago that someone had bought it. Didn't expect her to be the one who purchased them.

She also bought me a blue Maserati umbrella as well....I think she knows how much I love the car.

Thats a great idea as a present (both). Its hard not to love Maseratis - cant believe more people don't 'get it'.

i am sure people buy them just to sell on..

Reg transfers 'promised' to buy it for me for a 200 percent mark up.
I bought it myself (whilst at work) and they phoned up to say a competitor with greater resources had secured it.

They are ++++++ liars and have let me down the previous two years so I was taking no chances.

Cheers...All I have to do now is try and remove the old plates that are stuck on. I take it it's just a case of pulling them off?

When I did mine I used a hairdryer to soften the adhesive before peeling them off. Front was a lot easier than the back...

heat them as John said and then pass a dental floss thread or similar behind the plate, top to bottom, with a sawing action along the plate.
