after the 3200 maserati rear lights have not been good....sorry to say it but its true, im not tsalking cars, i would never say a GS or a GTS is not better than a 3200 im just talking lights.....
the 4200 and GS....nothing wrong with them but not very iconic or pretty
GT and GTS.....very ordinary, almost mondeo looking
QP.....best out the lot but again not pioneering.....

Ghibli......not changed from an AUDI.....

3200 wwere the first LED lights to come out and the prettiest....they need a good rear.....

Lights are an important factor as it seems some manufacturers are fitting DRLs as a sort of after thought, as if the car has come through 4 years of design and the they thought, oh shite, DRL re the way to go. And the you end up with something from Halfords.....sat Nav goes through the same design process in my opinion ....

Let's hope the Ghibli's are up to spec.......

Also, can that dreadful engine cover be removed revealing the rocker/cam covers ......... And can it be red......

Different car but me thinks I will stick with my Gransport and await the new Gransport. The Ghibili looks nice but fails to tempt me to get rid of my old girl.

This was my thinking until I realized there probably won't be a new GranSport for a while. I skipped the GranTurismo but don't feel I can skip another generation.

My cherished GranSport is now up for sale at Autofficina as of today, 14900 miles on the clock. It's a minter. I'd keep it if I had more parking space, but unfortunately it has to go to make way for the new arrival.

Fair enough Benny. As Harry says its a good first effort for a disiel. I feel the next generation will be a stormer.

The Ghibli is growing on me more and more and like the way there is a proper touch screen nav system and a geourgous interior. Exterior, for a 4 door saloon its a fair effort.

Lacks a little Maserati flare but what do you expect for £50k

At 2-3 years old and £30k will make for a great buy.

The interior is just stunning Matt, as you say...One of Maserati's best maybe.....Ok different from a GS in a modern sort of way.....

True Andy. They are trying to make money and bulk shift which I feel it will achieve.

If that then gives them money to produce a new GranSport then that is fine by me.

If the put the interior up against the competition then they will sell all you need to as its just looks soo much better than the Germans, etc...

Pat, I've just looked at the ad for your car on the Autofficina site - I'll be blunt and say I think it's dreadful. Very poorly worded (they haven't even spelt GranSport correctly!), wonky photos with loads of stuff in the background, dirty exhaust pipes, polish residue in the badges etc. I'd be furious if they were representing my car in such a lazy way. Your car is outstanding and not shown to full effect at all. I hope you don't take offence at what I've written here, it's meant to be an objective view.

Cheers for the heads-up, will take a look.

I remember briefly checking the pictures last night when a bit groggy, could be a lot better...
