Welcome to the madnes of GS ownership. Had mine nearly a year now and I can't wait to turn her on every chance I get. Enjoy.

Welcome, same colour scheme as mine. Still feels so special every time I get into her. As somebody has already said, adjusting the PIS will generally sharpen up the gear changes, but they get faster anyway the harder you drive her. Having the PIS adjusted will also help with slighty quicker getaways.

I've been through a few Maseratis over the the years, but I always come back to the GS. It's an unbeatable combination of looks, noise, space, comfort and drivability IMO. Enjoy

Glad you didn't get the hard sell from VVS. I must have caught them on a bad day! (maybe it was near the end of the month and their targets hadn't been met?).

Looks lovely!

I just wondered what would happen if you need a quick launch into a gap or something.

Even punching into a tiny gap onto a roundabout etc. don't be tempted to bury the throttle to the carpet, feed it in a bit quicker then usual to achieve the required result, snapping it down will just result in clutch wear, wheelspin and the MSP kicking in and killing it at the crucial moment! The delay in the MSP letting it go again is embarrassing and possibly dangerous if you have committed to a gap that is not really there!
