Similar for me, just renewed with Admiral multi-car £890 for:

Gransport Me and the wife £500 excess 6000 miles driveway (although it's garaged 99% of the time)
Volvo XC90 Me, wife, my mum and my Dad 12,000 miles driveway business use
Volvo v40 D3 F design Me. wife and my mum 15,000 miles driveway business use

Of the 3, the XC90 was the most and the V40 was the least. It seems to have no bearing on the value or mileage and is about how many are nicked more than anything else. The V40 was £29k (mega spec) and is loaded with safety features as well as being the highest rated NCAP car ever tested. This brought it to an paltry £195. Amazing when you consider that it's also a lease car so not owned by me as such. I thought that would make it more costly.

I too have just renewed with Admiral multi for Nicola and I each able to drive any of our three cars with protected NCB and no points / claims. The renewal was £875 when the email came in but after a 5 minute phone call to complain, it is now £783 - never take their first offer!
I tried getting quotes for each car individually but couldn't save anything so I'm 'happy' to stick with Admiral again, as happy as I ever am to pay out to insurers I guess.
