I'm seriously thinking of getting a used Diesel Ghibli when I need to change the 335D. It ticks all the boxes and there should, hopefully, be plenty of them to choose from in a couple of years.
It is Matt but at least you get the paddle shift to make it more interesting.
Harry Metcalf liked them when he drove the petrol version...
I assume it will only come in Auto too, which is a big put off for me.
My Verso 2.2D has paddle shift.. Why, I will never know! I can only imagine that paddles in the Ghibli will actually make it more interesting.
This is turning out to be a great car for the money....WOnder who will be the first forum member to buy one.
Great stuff MS.......So have you ordered a car or been enquiring about one..?
......killing the golden goose by a thousand increases....................I think their timing and aspirations are misjudged

The Ghibli is on show in central Edinburgh this coming w/e so I will go and have a look. The cheaper petrol car makes sense as its in the lower car tax bracket, is well priced if you go ultra light on the options (manual seats, no skyhook, keep the 18" wheels etc. In fact just take tints, HFS and metallic?) and look at a remap later on.
Not sure about the service intervals, but I doubt it is going to cost me any more than my last few years of Maserati motoring.
