Saying that if money was no object this would be in my garage. This is the one car I would have over any other....Don't care if there are quicker ones....You can keep you Ferraris etc this is it for me.....and yes it's absuloty stupid money but I would still have one.

Ideally it would share space with a 2 seat Stradale, latest 911 GT3 RS and BAC Mono......

That's horrible. Looks like it's been reversed through Halfords, then driven to Novitec and on to Rauh Welt for good measure. Each to their own and all that but i'd feel like a total **** driving that.

Totally agree, looks like a NASTY Japanese import.......How can you pay so much to lose all that class?
Cheers Wattie

Good job we all like different things gents as if not life would be very boring......Suppose at £250k new and now going for around 400k something is right with them. Got to be your type of thing though to pay that for it especially when Aston will upgrade a standard V12 S with its power and set up...Thinks it about 14k....

So if you don't like the GT12 you'll think the same if the GT8 then as well...

Saw it today and it is a stunner. Very very happy for you Adam and that is one car which we hope to add to our Wedding fleet very soon.

We all know AM can do no wrong in your eyes Andy. For me, I can't stand the GT12 and that new limited edition job has the same bonnet... leaves me cold. That GT8 though looks absolutey smashing. I couldn't have one on the road what with that spoiler but I'd love to have a quick go in one.

I'm not a fan of the limited one either Tipmethewink. A standard used V12S would do the job just fine and probably save a good 100k plus. I sort of get why some would take a GT12 with all the stickers and two tone paint and if I was buying one I would take one in one colour like this one.

There's a GT8 for sales at Aston Martin Park Lane. Looks nice, but not £200k nice.

The only person I know who's driven the GT12 - and he's driven a fvckload of Astons and does so on a daily basis - can't see the point. Funny that the GT12 has the same semi-auto box that the journos and purists complain about but they overlook it in this model which is widely lauded as a work of genius. Strange how easily the 'market' can get a b0ner for a limited run car, some weight-saving and lashings of carbon and Alcantara. I'd love to have bought one new, but only so I could trouser a £250k proft now:smile:

I'd never go back to manual, I like the paddles. And, like you, I take everything most journalists write or say with a big pinch of salt. I've only had a few cars but I've had plenty of bikes and of those there's been some horrors that the press seemed to be mad for. For the average person, I think 95% of their opinions are confusing and useless.

I'd have one of what Adam's got....all day long. The best package & VFM out of everything out there for me at that money at the moment.

Off topic... but is that your goose in your avatar? Handsome beast. Does he have a name? In my one-day house, which will have some kind of decent-sized pond and a bit of land, I quite fancy a squadron of patrolling geese.

Yep agreed, we now offer a Wedding Video option where we play the wedding day back in reverse and they love the end bit where they take the ring off, go back down the aisle, jump in the car and **** off with their mates!

:D

That's Jemima. He came to us as Jemima and we've not changed it. We've got a Mr. Mabel too. Most people avoid talking to me about "my" geese for fear of getting me started. A friend found our first three on the road and asked us to "adopt" them. I've since got another four. I can't recommend them enough, I love them to bits and, apart from in the spring when their hormones run wild, they're bloody marvelous. I've had a pond put in and electric fencing and added ducks and guinea fowl. Never fancied geese until they were foisted upon me but I'd not be without them now. I really hope you do end up with a squadron, they're marvellous.

At our barn we had four tiny baby lambs thrust on us by Pete-the-sheep. They were the runts of triplets born that day...when I said no thanks in front of Charlotte he said OK I will just knock them on the head!!! So she made the decision that we would raise them.

So aftee three weeks of three hourly feeds they are all grown up and in the fields rather than the garden...and hopefully in our freezer in a couple of months time. Although the last bit has been kept from Charlie for now.

They are just silly money Adam and yes would have been a good new investment.

Limited run track/road specials....They seem to justrise in price once out of the show room....Well for Porsche, Aston ad Ferrari.....Look at that latest 911 GT2 RS.....used ones on AT at £550k......same for that 911R....400/500k....Just stupid money.
