Friday Night meet.
This is NOT my title for the meeting of Italian Cars on Poole Quay in Dorset. UK. The local council chose the name!!!!
Having taken my classic Mini Cooper to the 'Mini day' (three weeks ago), I was encouraged to take my car to this event.
The popularity of Poole Quay ensured plenty of visitors admiring the Italian beauties.
A large representation by Abarth 595s and Spiders. A few rather lovely Alfas, old and new. Nice to see some Lancias too. Lamborghini were very well represented. Those Aventadors are eye-catching.
A few Ferraris of various ages and a few Maseratis. My 4200 (pic attached) looked glorious in my opinion was a sole member of the class which was dominated by a few Gran Turismos.
Coming away, several things struck me. Lambos do look somewhat alike (sadly as do Mclarens on their event a few weeks back). Ferrari are admirable for being individually distinctive; but I still (and always have) admire those Maserati 3200s, 4200s and Grand Sports still look amazing for being under-stated.

I look at my beautiful Rosso Bologna 4200CC and cannot believe it's 19 years old tomorrow and in my possession for 13 of those years. - 1st photograph.
I regret not taking more photographs but I only had my mobile phone whose camera is pretty awful. I still prefer my old digital SLR.
Old cars, old cameras, what's not to like?
