It's a wonder it stayed up that long!

Nope, not what you're thinking :D
I know we're having a bit of windy weather, but you don't need to be a structural engineer to know those fixings were nowhere near adequate enough, the mind boggles, what a shame :(

Bad installation I reckon, the grouting was crappy. I’d also put money on the unused holes being the designed ones.

If you look at the bolts only 2 of them were holding it in place the others failed long ago.

That's what happens when you use solvent free no nails.
Vegan builders clearly...
I mistakenly bought some solvent free sealant once , I realised my mistake when I didn't get high as soon as I cut the top off , I thought I'll still use it until I read the instructions , suitable for showers, I think it was 3 days before it set , that would've been nice , 3 days without a shower , back to b&q for the proper stuff

I am a water based paint convert though , for years I ignored it but as long as you key the surface so it sticks it doesn't yellow like the solvent based paint and dries fast

bugger me who designed the structural anchorage stevie wonder, the forces on that would of been immense and some serious structural calculations should have been in place
