Gp79 Member Messages 1,399 Dec 15, 2016 #4 It's the Heat shield for under f1 pump / oil tank held by 2 studs on rear frame. Can send you a pic tomorrow if you need. Sorry just read your post above... It can be fitted back quite easily by slackening the oil tank then there is just enough room.

Yep, they cut the bit you can see and then cut out the lower bit too as that had gone where the previous owner had just filled over the top and it was proper rotten. Well, you have to do these things properly don't you!
