Have to admit, as a Cdn (we have many Brits here), I've never heard of "belling" someone...
Bell, as in ring, as in call.....

No, of course I figured that out... I've, of course, heard of ringing someone, but not belling someone.Bell, as in ring, as in call.....

Is that to enquire or inquire? No, of course I figured that out... I've, of course, heard of ringing someone, but not belling someone.
Incidentally, in North America, you call someone AT 604-222-4567, but in the UK you call someone ON 604-222-4567.
As recipient of said bell, would that make you the bell end?Bell, as in ring, as in call.....

Well, let me then say... I can say it's for sure in Canada. I also can say, other than a notable few ways you say things (pronunciations) there are relatively few differences in the vernacular between Americans and Canadians. Then again, US TV, movies, etc. predominate here. But also UK produced media too. We get it all .I have to say that's not my experience from working in the US but....

Educate me, please. I (perhaps mistakenly) use those two interchangeably...Is that to enquire or inquire?
It's about asking whether the paint colour is blue, or the paint color is blue.Educate me, please. I (perhaps mistakenly) use those two interchangeably...
Hey!!Well it certainly would in some cases

With the first way being the correct way. It's about asking whether the paint colour is blue, or the paint color is blue.
And hoose. We Cdns say colour, favour, but we also say minimize (not minimise). And most of us say Mom, not Mum.
Also 'moose'?And hoose.
Also 'moose'?
Which can perhaps get confusing if you have a nest of the little sods in your attic.
