Hi
Is it just my failing eyesight and hearing as I get older or are the 4200 indicator warning lights very difficult to see in decent daylight. In fact with sunglasses on I find it impossible to see them. Also the audible click is so quiet I can barely hear that.
So having yet again left the indicators on today is there a solution.
I could of course try the Audi/BMW trick and not use them.:)

You could always wire in a extra bleeper into the circuit, Its very easy

Her indoors, always complained about how she couldn't hear the indicators on her Fiat Punto

As they should of course cancel automatically, perhaps your 'white plastic cancelling cam thingy' is incorrectly aligned.
There is a very good thread regarding how to do this somewhere on the forum if you search 'wipers'.
I know because I read it recently as mine rarely cancels on right turn and needs doing. It's all here somewhere!

I do this quite frequently as it is too quiet esp if you overtakon motorways.

I did think about leaving the cover off the relay to make it click more... but no doubt it does not have one and uses an Italian ECU that will fail if I just look in its direction.

I got a couple of motor cycle bleepers and wired them into each indicator circuit. They are loud, even wrapped in Duck tape, and even giving it the berries with the roof down I haven’t left the indicators on since I fitted them. IIRC, they cost a couple of quid each.

It seems like it's everyone!
I have found that the steering wheel obscures the dash lights and any other position isn't comfortable for me.

Thanks for the replies. The white thingy is fine. It's usually when I'm changing lane or overtaking as safrene suggests. Benny's idea sounds good.

I have exact same problem. I can’t find the thread to fix the problem. Can some one provide the link pleas. Thanks in anticipation.
