Sacrilege I know, but I recently saw a pimped out Thema and My God! it looked and sounded awesome. I'll match your want and raise it with need.

I need to buy that just for the engine, ready to drop into a Stratos replica which I will one day build in the future - the perfect engine for that car, albeit with slightly high mileage but nothing a good strip down and rebuild couldn't fix.

If only I didn't have to work for a living!

Richard Thorne sells immaculate cars too so whoever sees this will not be disappointed!

I don't get it; a low performance V8 wrapped in an aesthetically displeasing Italian rot box. As for the Stratos replica, put in an Alfa 3.0 V6; cheaper, more power and better reliability.

I hear you but this unit is just that little bit closer to the real thing.
Either way, it's going to remain a pipe dream for some time yet I fear

I love that Beta - it's been for sale for a while and is so, so tempting

Back in the 80s I really liked the Montecarlo, an old guy up the street had a beta, it never got out of 2nd gear in town , you'd hear it revving it's nuts off right to the bottom of the main road.

When he sold it a young lad bought it, he had it about a week and all the front suspension collapsed in the middle of a junction

...check out the MOT history online and you will change your mind, from the last MOT April last year:

"underside of vehicle heavily corroded /repaired and heavily undersealed in places making inspection difficult
nearside rear under wheelarch area heavily corroded"

I'm out!!

It's a 1980s Lancia, I'm surprised it doesn't say heavily corroded on the original PDI

Again checking the MOT history online...
Back in 2007 it had "general body and under body surface corrosion plus heavy surface corrosion to rear chassis cross member"
It appears it then was off the road without any MOT until April 2014 and has been for sale ever since with no mileage.
Assuming the corrosion being sorted, it's my sort of car! luv'em

Loved these when they came out.....That doesn't seem a lot of money for a Ferrari engined car.
