Launch control on GT Sport Auto

Anybody tried it? What happens? Warnings in handbook have put me off so far, but had the car for a few months so getting tempted.

Is that on the Sport Auto ?.... never read the manual ... but as soon as mines back i'm going to have a look ...

The first reply referenced the semi-auto. Mine is the torque converter auto - just wondered what the difference would be compared to just flooring it from rest.

Launch control never really gets a good feedback from my experience. Either never happens as you expect or you spin up and make a tit of yourself lol, plus it lunches clutches

This launch control capability is fitted to my QP GT Sport, I have used it a few times, demonstrated it a few years back at an Ace cafe meeting.
Basically the later QPs have the same F1 software as 599 & the MC shift.
It is a bit Brutal so use sparingly to save gearbox & engine mounts..
