Just had a clutch reading today for a prospective purchaser , after 18 months and 5300 miles the gransport clutch is showing 11.79 % wear , im well pleased to say the least , maybe 45K maserati miles in two massers has taught me something , dont worry about being heavy footed just enjoy eating up the miles

regards loz

Loz how would you say you drove it?

Do you lift off a bit when changing?
Do you lift off completely when changing?
Do you not change throttle position at all when changing gear?

Cheers

I averaged 1000 miles per 1% in my first 4200, but I did use it mostly on long trips.

Same here for the first 25k. Then between the last 2 services, despite another 8k, I only used less than 0.01%. Yep that's it, the reading was exactly the same!
Something tells me something's not quite right with these readings.

Anyone used the inspection aperture to physically inspect the amount remaining on the plate?........much more reliable

Clutch readings are relative to how they were set up, if they were reset at any point and who did the initial set-up.
Frank, I always closely inspect what is left on my plate, you never know who might just nick something off there whilst your not looking..!!
