.... Maser'd for the very first time.
Who remembers their very first ...err ...umm ride in a Maserati? Where & with whom did you break your Maser cherry?
My first experience was on the back seats of a rather smart Ghibli in '98. Thankfully, the owner and his son were in the front
The Father of a pal at Uni. was visiting with a recent import. The opportunity for a quick blast has been remembered fondly ever since. In part, because of what happened here:
Waiting patiently at the lights we were joined by a beamer of some sort. Who clearly intended to muscle past before the bottleneck. Who also hadn't a clue what he'd stopped next to. With engine revving the beamer set off and was doing well.
Having said "watch this" the father engaged warp factor nine, the turbos spooled, and the beamer was history. For a fleeting moment, from my vantage point looking out the back window, I caught the look horror on the other guys face. Brilliant.
