I'm sure that I'm not the only one that is (not so) secretly pleased to be able to use lockdown as an excuse to polish things (ooh eeer!). I haven't had time to properly machine our Macan since I bought it about 6 months ago. I managed to get that sorted yesterday after waiting for various purchases to arrive such as a new Karcher, snow foam etc etc.
I did a full machine cut and polish, paint preparation and then a nice top coat. Nowhere to go but she sure does look nice!
I'll likely be working most of today but if I do get an afternoon break, today's job is to swap the winter wheels off the Fezza and get the diamond cuts ones back on. I'll need to clean and seal them first and take the opportunity to dust off the suspension etc while each wheel is off. My car has been fully undersealed etc so i'm interested to learn how easy, or difficult, it will be to get the light layer of dirt off the components will be.
How's about posting up some of your Covid-19 detailing pics and tips?
