Well, I've now owned a Maserati for more than two days. What an lovely car. Nice to drive and of course the engine is pretty decent too. Very much a GT not sports car, but that's what it has been bought for, so good.
Not all great though, fog light buttons fell off into my lap (looks like it may be fixable with a little dismantling and bonding), air vent had dropped a slat (second hand ones seem available and fitting looks easy) and the boot lock stopped working (fixed with a screwdriver, and handily I now know where the release cable is). All minor as far as I am concerned and will work through as time permits.
One really nice thing is that in sundays tootling I saw three other Maseratis, and got a wave from all of them.
Looking at the original purchase invoice it has a £1500 stereo upgrade. This the Bose, as quality doesn't seem particularly good?
It has a private plate which is not really my thing, so will be putting up for sale to swap out for standard. So if anyone wants a plate something something MAZ let me know. Ill be putting a post in the for sale section, open to offers.
