But then for 3k more you could have this with tubi and handling pack ...

Nice car Andy, but has had some rather shoddy work done on the rear offside quarter , take a closer look at where the bumper meets the bottom of the rear quarter , not mega to put right but at least an oppurtunity to knock off a good few K off the asking price , god im picky but still got a good eye for whats right

I will def take you with me when buying a car Loz .... If you could get a few more pennies off it then it does seem a cheap 550 with handling pack.

dont like the conny version, they look shite with the roof up, has to be coupe or if you want some wind in your hair, get a GTS.

Adam ... two different price ranges ... 355 - 40k - GTS 100K ..... Don't think the 40k budget would stretch to be honest.

I'm not sure they look 'shite' with the roof up do they? My friend has one which he is gracious enough to let me drive occasionally. Each to their own of course but IMHO the 355 is one of the last Ferrari's that I'd truely want to own for its looks - roof or no roof. If anything it's the GTS that looks a bit perculiar without the roof panel in place. Anyway, what do I know! The real reason for posting is that my friend is contemplating off loading his soon I think and its tip top (albeit Giallo Fly is not everyone's cuppa). I'm not a great fan of people just using the forum to off load motors but perhaps he ought to stick it on here.

Feel free Mark to let him know its okay , another avenue is always helpful , if it goes to or through someone on here then great , a small remuneration to Admin would be all that would be gentlemanly required

it would have to be a 355 GTB or 355 GTS for me, Rosso with the cream carbon seats and a manual gearbox, yum yum.

Well I guess the best thing to do would be to get a drive in all three! Having driven the spyder with top up and down I can tell you that its awe inspiring. I'm naturally introvert so driving round with the top down was a little worrying along the lines of "look at that **** " and copping a load of abuse but each time it was the opposite - just lots of interest and admiring glances, thumbs up all round. I know we don't get many sunny day's but trust me, top down, wind it round to 8,000............ Just while on the subject, what do others think about colours? I think fezza's look more interesting in anything but red, although the big beasts certainly need darker shades ie 400/412,456,612 (not good in any colour)! I saw a 355 GTB in dark green and it looked fantastic. Finally, I know I'm on the wrong but I'm a lazy sod - new FF - more like WTF. Bleak. I'm not a fan of Jeremy (maserati hater and destroyer) Clarkson but he was spot on when he described the Chrysler Crossfire as looking like a dog taking a sht. FF, same thing. Still, all grist to the maserati mill eh?! Happy days.

Marc, i went in a 355 Spider that was green with Tan leather, was quite nice but i wouldn't buy it. I have been in around 12 355's, GTS, GTB and Spyder models and also F1 and Manual gearbox models, for me the GTS with a Manual is the way to go.
