Low miles E39

What do you want such a car for in reality?
If driving around keeping pretty much to the speed limits, it will be a nice place to be.
It's so rare that I ever give my M140i the beans as a daily driver, it could well be a 116i most of the time.
A 4 door saloon, more so.
As a weekend/summer evening driver, slide the scale to more performance.

Historic Auctioneers have had a few Japanese imports in several of their auctions ranging from E39, E46 and VW Golfs all possibly from the same importer dealer ?

I think one or two have gone through, some (notably a Saab 900) at a higher price than bought a couple of years ago. There are several importers though.

There's an E39 3.0 Sport on Car & Classics at the moment lots more miles but with 10 hours to go at £3,900
