This may have been discussed before but I can't find any answers.
Why do these cars,along with my QP Evo 3.2,have a low oil pressure warning beginning at 2,5 bar ? I've seen it on other cars and along with mine it warns of low pressure as soon as the needle is near 2,5 bar. It's really annoying...
What's the point of this and why ? Normal oil pressure instruments has a 0,5-1.0 bar warning limit. Is the warning limit set inside the instrument or inside the sender ? The sender only has one lead - earth - and both pressure and low pressure warning should need two leads from the sender ?
