Yes Ian, that was me. Abit gutted that me and my mate effectively missed half the halls, including the Maserati stand. However i was like a zombie after a rough few nights sleep. Have decided next year that we will do all of them halls instead. We had a good day out regardless, so thats the main thing.
Last time I went to the classic at the NEC I bought a Jaguar XJ-S, which was probably one of the least reliable and most fantastic cars I've ever owned. I've been hesitant about going since then.
Forum's the way to go. I'm sure one wouldn't be able to say cock, ****, ****** or **** at the Club, whereas you can here. In fact, it's positively encouraged.
Christ, you lot are more up yourselves than people who are up themselves.
Your a member then bob?

Sorry was busy online ordering a pair of red chinos....
Mercifully, we were joking! I've been a beneficiary of the Club's excellent work at the Maserati Centenary events at the Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago and was delighted and grateful to have the chance to participate. I can't remember if I needed to join to be a part of that, but I don't think do. On that basis alone I must assume them to be fairly inclusive, but a fairly different set up, level of formality and "officialness" to SM, which from an ownership and general community perspective suits me pretty much perfectly.
Chinos? My dear chap, I think corduroy is the way to go when it comes to proper red trousers.

For the chino-style trousers I prefer the brick-colour 'Salcombe Reds', but I don't think a fellow should wear those as far inland as Birmingham.
