Hooligans the pair of you. :D :D

As an aside, I wonder whether it's possible to de-muffle the standard centre section? Looking at those photo's it looks like it might be. Anyone any experience?

I still have my 4200 BB's and centre section. I might have a play.....

Just curious P. Been down the whole Larini route and that was fun on the 4200. Just wondering whether de-muffling the OEM would give a bit more 'tone' without increasing the volume to 11?

Didn't make any difference IMHO, they said the Mid larini section would improve the flow......nought else.

The unsilenced X-pipe I put on mine made a he!l of a difference. I think an X-pipe with standard GS back boxes would sound Ok. I think Dicky will agree that mine now sounds fabulous but is marginaly anti-social.

Marginal change on GS

We had 2 GS's side by side listening to the output. - 1 with Larini X section replacing the OEM, other stock
(Owner of Larini is a forum member, his write up is on the forum (Abyss))

At full chat it has been likened to a low flying Spitfire! In the airport tunnels, it actually hurts your ears. I can't wait to do the Alps if the factory trip goes ahead. BTW, my latest tactic is to drive behind any Lambo as they are likely to get stopped instead of me as such a classy rag top couldn't possibly make so much noise!
