He, I'm ok with that; the car needed a lot more fuel than me and I looked at the limp service station sarnies and knew I could do better!

The weight is dropping slowly this time which I'm happy with...

Is there not an annual Maserat European gathering? In 2013 it was in Switzerland. .. don't know where 2015 will be.

I attended the one in Sweden in 2010. It was amazing. As said above, my 4200 was voted the most beautiful new era car at concours. It even came over the newily GTS.
Peter...looking at the Chateau site atm...what a beauty..

Those are some serious double yellow lines behind you there Chris!

Yeah, they really didn't want anyone else to park there :)

Had to sneak off and get some stuff from the car last night. She's tucked up nice and warm in a double deck garage just north of here, taking a well earned rest before a couple of 5, 9 and 5 hour days :D

What a great trip - got back last night after a run up with a wasp on crack behind me - well done Mark - i think the nut case on the autoroute kept us awake.

I cant say enough but thanks to everyone involved and those that did all the work to get us there.

Bill for the breakdown has gone by scan to GrayPaul to have a look at and ignore i suppose - but worth a go.

I have a special picture to post later - oh dear!

Ave you nowt moist?

Just stopped pi##ing myself! quote of the century....and did the trick with the cheeky take outs!

Not my best pose Newton but the grin says it all....even I fell in love with the Ghibli that day despite the comedy brakes.

Cheers Damon, I think some of the delay is the 7 hour lunch breaks the Italians have, as you are well aware they don't seem too willing to go the extra mile? It hasn't detracted from the trip at all, in-fact in a funny sort of way it has just added to the adventure & thankfully the recovery cover has been A++

Just need to decide what to do with the car now get it sent home (sensible option) or let the Italians sort it and finish the road trip (we can see where this is going)

When did sensible make a difference in Maserati ownership Adam; you know you are going to drive it home just for the sake of pride...!

no they just liked me and thought a quick tour of the local banks would be a good idea before leaving.

Yeah, that's always fun - especially when the cash machines aren't working, adds to the jollity and helps relax the situation no end!
