Thread Resurrection record.....

From and including: Thursday, 23 June 2011 To and including: Wednesday, 8 November 2023

Result: 4522 days
It is 4522 days from the start date to the end date, end date included.
Or 12 years, 4 months, 17 days including the end date.
Or 148 months, 17 days including the end date.

I just did a search for Chrysler TC and added to the first thread I came to. Probably not ideal. Sorry!

Those Cadillacs were made in Italy by Pininfarina.

According to Wikipedia, the bodes were indeed made in Italy by Pinninfarina, but then flown to Detroit for assembly.

"The Allanté bodies were designed and manufactured in Italy by Pininfarina and were shipped to the U.S. for final assembly with domestically manufactured chassis and engine, eventually leading it to be referred to as "the world's longest assembly line." Specially equipped Boeing 747s departed from Turin International Airport with 56 bodies at a time."

Can't they sell the diesels and SUVs in FIAT showrooms.........;)....?

P
Like ford with the SUV they're calling a mustang it's all about moving boxes ,maserati can sell a chrysler in an Italian party dress where the same car with a fiat badge on would sell for far less.

Some of us would prefer to forget these ever existed. I remember the TV commercials with scheister Lee Iacocca (head of Chrysler at the time) talking them up. It was.... cringeworthy.
I wish I could find the original commercial online somewhere, but no luck. Did find some great resources to read up on this fiasco, if you're interested.
