She looks beautiful and no shocks it sailed through.Just got the old girl back from HR Owen's new multi million pound showrooms and servicing centre in Hatfield. Dem very kindly dropped me there to pick her up but not before feasting our eyes on the most amazing exotic cars. Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley are all there and it really is states of the art.
The Gransport was there for her annual service and check over together with MOT. Needless to say she passed with flying colours. 'The best Gransport I have seen" ......... Not my words, but those of the service manager Nick. Anyways I just thought I would update you and she is still available.
It would handle like a boat with no shocks, no wonder it sailed through! She looks beautiful and no shocks it sailed through.
The stupid RFL arrangement in this country highlighted in another thread does not help. Although not that much in the overall scheme of things and should not steer you from one car to an earlier registraion example, it grabs headlines to knock cars and add to the perception 'they are expensive to run'. Needs an educated and discerning buyer.I find it dispiriting that one of the best examples of arguably Maseratis best car of that decade struggles to command a price in the mid-high twenties. It’s crazy.
We are a dying breed! The stupid RFL arrangement in this country highlighted in another thread does not help. If comparing to the GT it is much smaller and more of sports car than a Grand tourer. There is nothing in the current crop of Maserati cars that compares to it. The MC20 is almost 10 times more expensive so lets not bring that into the equation. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with the current crop of models but they are all way bigger than the Gransport. Maserati are badly missing a car of that size. The Road Tax is no worse than its successor and if well maintained, as mine is, the running costs are not bad for such an exciting and rare car.
Yes, we’ve discussed a while back. I’ve got one at present with FMDSH too, lots of interest but alas still not quite sold.Wouldn’t Dicky sell it for you are surely itis one of it not the best examples out there and the history must be second to none. Not many GS have been serviced at a main dealer every year of its life. A credit to you my friend.
Gransports have always sold in fits and starts, just the way the market has always been. I’ve had 5 people now want to buy the car and been more than happy with condition and history etc. The problem has usually been px’s as people have overinflated values of their cars. Gransports on the other hand have never been cheaper. I’ve 3 people interested this week and 2 viewings this week so may well sell soon; you never know.Gransports do seem to be a hard sell at the moment. GranTurismos seem to be where the Maserati money is at the moment with Strads price nailed on over the past decade.
I knew I could depend on you LozHaving not seen or driven the old girl for some years now , I think you really need to lend it to me for a week so I can make an informed decision as to the condition and drivability .......... clutch tested by yours truly , first and only wheelspin this car has ever done ....and thats a fact
You never know. Anything and everything is possible.Yes, we’ve discussed a while back. I’ve got one at present with FMDSH too, lots of interest but alas still not quite sold.
