No issue at all if the OP is aware of what he has.Facelift 4.2's are available in other markets up to 2016 or 17. Not sure what the issue is? It must have been a special order.
Which model year is this? The only outlier from the GranTurismo spec that is different on mine are the tyres...mine are ZR 20"

am really happy with the car and I am not looking to return. I am ...*touch wood*, hoping for long stints of painless cruising...
You can send a pic of your interior showing your steering and it will be a tell tale sign as you'll have the same one as the Sport. You also seem to have the facelifted side skirts. You could message :

They can confirm build date / model / spec
You will need to send them a copy of the V5 in your name
MY 12 car can tell by the seats.This is a 2015, 4.2 for sale…

I promise you it’s not ! The facelift 4.2s had these seats which were used on the older S models. As suggested, the steering wheel in Davangar’s has the same steering wheel as the Sport, which was a facelift item of the 4.2MY 12 car can tell by the seats.
That is good news! Makes yours somewhat of a rarity I would think as it must have been a special order.Hi All,
Fantastic news!
I have checked in with info@maserati.com and provided them with V5 and VIN. They have responded couple of hours back, confirming the change in ownership and that this car was indeed manufactured 08/2016.
I must admit that I was quite surprised with how quickly they came back - emailed them yesterday and I got the response today!!
Phew!! Rylan can keep his dentures after all....
