The ability to get closer to the competitors is one of the fantastic things about 'smaller' meetings such as this. It was so relaxed yesterday and Brands is a wonderful circuit to walk all the way round, too. We found some great viewing spots out in the forest. Inviting the super/hyper cars along is also a marketing masterstroke as it really helped both the attendance and the atmosphere. We got in for nowt but I reckon my mate and I spent around £40 at the concessions so we paid our dues. Quid pro quo.

I'm 100% up for going back to this event next year.

Very Maserati this. Note the cable ties holding the air bottles to the trolley. This was then towed from the paddock to the pits at speed behind a quad with the pit crew hanging on as well.

That was 7k's worth alone... this amateur racing stuff with proper cars is heavy wonga!

Mind you, I got jumped on by some a while ago for suggesting one of our Olympic chunky monkeys had a gut. A lottery funded athlete and they didn't win a match at O-'12. I don't think they even won a set. At least Gostner is competitive.
