Will have a look now...My fav GS....

Oh yes...love it...the right colour outside and in....just needs anthracite wheels as that was the standard colour and just finishes the car off....Is it worth 40k...Difficult but for me I think i would as it is just perfect and with limited numbers it may just be the GS that because desirable.....Saying that it's not fro everyone with alcantara everywhere and those tight fitting seats....But for me it's pant wetting good.

Where is it advertised?

Have you a link to the ad? Sounds a little rich but in a sluggish economy there's always room for bargaining.

Andyk, thanks for your speedy response. I just found it. :)

I was obviously looking in the trade section. duh. It's a beautiful car, seems like the owner has finally decided to let it go after he contemplated selling it shortly after buying it last year. hmmmm.

It's a lovely lovely car. How easy would it be to get anthracite wheels on it?

I would go to a good wheel refurb chap and just get them resprayed....If you try and buy new wheels itr will cost a fortune but for me it has to be changed as will look original...Just not as 'agressive with silver....................The pics are taken when the chap vought it from Meridien I see, which if memory serves me wasn't that long ago....I sure it was at the beginning of the year they had it for sale...could be wrong though...

Spraying is definitely one option or maybe just swapping with another member. I completely agree with going back to the factory agressive look but come to think of it, silver wheels never looked right on any colour GS.

The original ad is archived in the trade section. £47K with 10K miles advertised 08/2009.

New it wasn't that long ago...Would totally agree on the wheels. Just look so much better in anthracite than silver with any colour....

I've heard traders say you make your money on cars when you buy them, not when you sell them. I agree with that when buying too. IMO, 12months ago, £47k was all the money for that car - photo's and price suggest its a Meridien car :)

Its lovely and if its what you want, its probably worth £40k. For me though, I dont see the premium over a standard car ast £6-10k. Maybe it'll be more collectable in the futrue?

I with the chap well though. Having watched (obsessively) GS's of late, I personally dont see it selling quickly.

It's a fair whack but that's the price one pays for the things one doesn't need.

GTs are diving in price so GS prices can't hold out for much longer they way they have been. It'll probably be around for a while especially since you don't get financing on a private sale.

Agree sutats it is probably over priced but if I was in the market and this came up I would struggle not to make an offer...There are so few around and it would be heart rather than head.

I nearly bought a GS MC Victory for 55K about 3 years ago. I liked the idea of exclusivity, but other than that there was not much difference between the MC and a stock GranSport. I think the seats are a bit lighter, but other than that it's just different trim and badging IIRC. It would have been nice if Maserati had tweaked the car in other ways, just to add a little bit more to the exclusivity.

I've not seen red but I'm sure you could of it you paid enough...The problem for me is that because the carbon fibre spoilers are blue the only colour for me is blue victory...
