larini are the way to go on the 3200 as well. I love how mines sounds, it definately only needs the backboxes, it would be too loud if whole system

Depending on which exhausts I sell my AC with, I may have a set of Larinis for sale separately in due course. As others have said, Larini do sound amazing - yet the noise isn't intrusive or droning..... still nice and quiet on the motorway too.

No such thing as tooooo loud , so long as you have the ability to turn it down when needs be , as in the Larini valved system , whereas Tubi's are an everyday system , giving that sonic burble where ever you go , its a horses for courses thing , if i was using the car close to everyday then i would go for the Tubi without doubt , and keep the Larini for those show offy moments , like everytime i drive it :drunk:

regards loz

Thats interesting Nige as when I lend Marks 4200 for the day his Larini had a drone at motorway speeds and although it sounded lovely that would drive me mad over time...........I know Miles said his was the same. Think Mark just has the back box but Mles has the full exhaust...Is the 3200 one different then...?....

Yep, quite a different sound. On the 3200 it's quite a low (evil!) sound. However, I had Larinis on my 4200 Spyder and took them off again as they were a bit loud/droning for me (though may partly have been that there was less sound insulation through a fabric hood...I assume they're better on a coupe!).

evil is a great term to describe the larini on the 3200. Amazingluy there is no drone on the motorway considering the noise coming out the back. They sound compeltely different to 4200 larini as has been said.
Loz i thought 3200 larini systems never came with a valve option?
Anyway any must be better than the stock 3200 exhaust with kills the sound too much

I have the drone at 2500 revs.......sits just below cruising speed on some of the roads I am on....so drop the window an inch....or indeed a gear!

It's impossible to achieve big db sound when having a turbo car vs a non turbo car!

Turbo cars can still be very loud its just you struggle top get a "scream" from the exhaust due to the silencing effect of the turbo

Agree but if you fit the same boxes (let's say the tubis, if could be adjusted) on a 3200 and a 4200, the noise level will vary.
