The black QP on the ferry from Bilbao was us. After nearly 4 weeks in Spain we didn't see another Maserati. The QP drew lots of admiring glances on our travels, much more so than in the UK.
Next to us on the ferry were some of the MGs and an amazing open top three wheeler Morgan, the passenger had a dog on her lap.
I'm glad I'm no longer on that crossing.
The reaction we got was good as well - and no other Maseratis on our travels either though another black ?QP on the A36 heading S near Standerwick yesterday early evening.
We boarded a little earlier and I'd spotted your car in my mirror (but wasn't sure as there was a top box on the one behind, which looked as if it was on yours), but saw you go past on level 5 as we climbed the stairs from G2.
I saw and heard! the 3 wheeler. My father had one in his day, though I'd not like to be in a topless aircon-free car in central Spain in 35C heat. We were discussing how it would have been in my, now-sold Caterham with the passenger's feet separated from the exhaust manifold by 2mm of aluminium and a couple of inches of air while the sun sizzled from above.
One of the Harley enthusiasts told me that there was a fair bit of damage to a CVO with, potentially a £30k repair bill - I suspect they'd write it off if that was the case. Looking at the prices they start at a little over £32k.
