Think.£75K is the highest a Merak has sold for. A nice Khamsin went for under a hundred at auction last month so this price is optimistic.

Never been a big fan of the Merak and if I had @100k there are plenty of other options out there

Personally I think the reasons it hasn't sold are:
It's a bit too expensive.
The car was located in the far east for most of that 18 months it's been for sale, and only recently brought back to the UK.
It's in a less appealing (in my opinion) colour scheme of grey with black interior.
It's just completed a rally in China that probably gave it a hard time (as you can see from the video on their website, it needed engine work en route).

I was seriously considering buying it a year ago but these things put me off. In the end I bought a far more attractive freshly restored 1981 RHD example with similar low mileage. It had a few teething problems but all sorted now by Myles at Emblem and running like a dream.
