Back in February I traded in my Maserati QP 4.7 S for a 9 month old Merc A200d AMG for my missus because I couldn't shift my QP (despite its fabulous condition and relatively low mileage for it's age.) I have to say that this is the first time that we've ever had a Merc in our household ( had plenty of BMW's and Audi's in the past). The Merc has turned out to be a fantastic 'pocket rocket'! It's incredibly fast for such a small car, sticks to the road like glue, bang up to date with its flat screen displays and various technical gizmos in the cockpit and incredibly frugal on fuel burn. We are consistently getting well over 60mpg irrespective of how we drive it including motorway driving. In fact we are so impressed with it that we are now looking to trade in our other motor for a Merc. GLB 200 AMG next year. If you haven't tried one of these A series motors , seriously give it a go. You might be surprised. We certainly were and now a convertee to Mercs.
PS we bought the 9 month old motor for just £19k with 7k miles on the clock. Pretty good in my book.
