There is a field that backs onto our home and we do get the occasional mouse that gets in through the air vents, we use the humane traps with some Nutella in, then take the mice about 1/4 mile away and let them free, don't believe in killing anything where it can be avoided: -

And remember to take the traps out of the engine bay before you drive off - roasted mouse wrapped in a molten plastic "pastry" with peanut butter sauce.

Reminds me of the Fone Jacker series!

That may be against the Human Rights Act... but could be justified in some areas ;0)

How about an exhaust mod or two then fire up, maybe a spirited drive. That will be enough to burst their ear drums.

You should have come to the Ace as MAF & Benny would have made them self combust!

Update - haven't seen any trace of mice since Sunday. Cleared all the nesting material out of the boot, have put some bait down which they haven't touched. I'd also put some further bait in parts of the garage and this hasn't been touched either. Maybe the spirited driving on Sunday and yesterday convinced them to vacate the car and find somewhere quieter!!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll keep the mouse traps primed and loaded in the car and the garage to keep them on their furry toes!
